Welcome to Bookworm Bookmarks!
Monday, January 8, 2007 at 11:36AM Welcome to Bookworm Bookmarks!
I have worked professionally as a full service, free-lance calligrapher, off and on, for more than 20 years. I have my own local calligraphy business, Calligraphics, that is devoted to weddings, invitations, birth announcements, envelope addressing, place cards—the types of projects that are the stock and trade of calligraphers. I have worked with businesses, corporations, colleges, churches, foundations, clubs and countless brides to create custom designs to meet individual lettering needs.
Through this new, online venture, Bookworm Bookmarks, I have found a way to wed my love for calligraphy with my love for books, quotations, and blogging. All custom bookmarks are hand-lettered and mounted on card stock in your choice of color(s) or you can chose from an existing design. Bookmarks are laminated for durability. If you’d like, I can add an eyelet with a ribbon. I can even add a charm or some beading to the ribbon if you want to get really fancy!
To help me get started creating your special bookmark, you’ll have to submit a request to me via email at BookwormGraphics@gmail.com and I’ll send you a welcome letter and a questionnaire that will walk you through the various options available. Once you settle on the bookmark you want, I’ll email you back with an estimate of the cost and the time needed to complete it and we can begin!
You’ll be emailed a scanned image of the finished lettering (before final mounting) for approval. Once approved and the bookmark is mounted, the bookmark is complete and no changes can be made at that point. All bookmarks are sent First Class, unless USPS Priority with return receipt is requested. Please allow 7 to 10 days for First Class and 2-3 days for Priority Mail.
