Puppy Love

Thought I'd try out some of the features of the blog.

These pups belong to our girl, Eve. Eve came to live with us in February. She still technically belongs to our breeders, but they are retiring her after this "one last litter" and she'll come back to live with us forever once the pups are weaned. Eve is a hale and hearty 7 years old; and as that is 49 years old in doggy years, (that's how old I am in people years!) I think it's high time she retires from breeding. She deserves a nice, long rest, don't you think?

This world is not my home

2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if the tent, which is our earthly home, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, 3 if indeed by putting it on [1] we may not be found naked. 4 For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5 He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

The blank page

How hard it is to commit to the blank page! To write one's thoughts in a notebook is one thing, but to publish them for all to see is quite another.

This will take some thought. And courage.
