What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Library Thing

I've just started cataloging my library at LibraryThing.com

You can check out some random books from my library in the side bar. For a while it may look as though I am not very well-read--I only have one shelf cataloged so far. I promise you--I do read more widely than Tolkien and Harry Potter!

This is such a great idea! I've been trying to catalog my books since junior high. I have many half-finished data bases just floating around out there--I haven't found anything that really functions the way I want it to. Maybe this will help!

This seems to be a very user friendly way to catalog books.

If you decide to go for it, send me a link to your library. I'd be interested in searching through your English writers (weren't you into 1940's/50's English mystery writers or something like that??)

Allyson,

If you do decide to use Library Thing for cataloging, check out this link: it will help you gather up what you've already done and transfer it to L-thing.
