What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Dogs are like toddlers. . .

...when the weather is gloomy and yucky and they can't go outside, they get rowdy.

Today the girls have been playing an extended version of an old game. Run and chase. When one goes outside to go potty, the other one stands at the door. . .waiting. As soon as the one comes in, off they go!

They wrestle and run, they leap and skitter, they growl and pant. Most especially they wag their tails.

Today, I'm glad they can entertain themselves. Say a prayer for my hardwood floors because they're at it again!

What breed are they?

They're Vizslas. Hungarian Pointers and the smartest, most loving breed in the world. And one of the most energetic, especially when they are puppies.

They look like they're having so much fun!

Oh, they were having fun! Eve is 7 and a half and she still plays every day!

Hee hee. Sounds like Rory when she runs her "laps" every night, either at 9:30 or 10:30. How many times can a dog go around the coffee table? We've stopped counting :)

*grin* We call those the "zoomies"

When Ivy takes off on one of her zoomies, we just have to stand back and laugh! They can be a bit intimidating to the uninitiated, but we have grown to enjoy the spontaneous bursts of doggy joy that we've dubbed "the zoomies."

I think I'd like Rory. He sure is a cutie! How old is he now?
