Eve's leap

I've been trying for days to get a picture of how high Eve leaps when we feed her. Finally, between the boys and me, we have found a way to share just a glimpse of Eve's happy, happy feeding frenzy. We took a video of her jumping, stopped the action on one of her high leaps, hit the print screen button, pasted it into paint and voila!

I wish there was a way to post up the whole movie. (about 2 minutes, I'd guess) It's pretty funny.

I also wish we'd filmed on a day when the kitchen was cleaned up! Oh, well! :)

What a fabulous picture, and a beautiful dog!

She's got some powerful hind legs, there!

Yes, she is beautiful. She is getting old, though, (almost 8) and her muzzle and toes are getting white. But she has the sweetest face. I have a hard time getting a picture of her face, though, because she has cataracts and her eyes glow green in photos no matter how carefully we try to avoid it.

And yes, she does have powerful legs. Vizslas are very sleek, athletic dogs. Very lively and fun.

Can you tell I'm crazy about my girls and the breed in general?

I found that if I scroll very quickly up and down on this post it looks as thought your doggy is hopping. Would needs video. :)

Amazing Jumper!

Just came across your blog a few days ago...I LOVE v's and have one darling of my own. Those photos are so funny! I'm 5'1 and my V jumped over me once when I was bending over petting another dog (usual attention getting antics, of course!) Anyway, just wanted to say hello!

Hi Vizslagrl!

There really is nothing like living with a Vizsla(s) is there? I'm surprised you haven't succombed to that virulent disease: MVD (Multiple Vizsla Disorder) yet! I predict your day is coming!

I'd love to hear more about your V. Feel free to use the comments section on the blog to share stories about your darling.

If you'd like to read some past posts about the girls, the easiest way to find them is to go to The Hiraeth Warehouse (you can find the link by going to my profile) I have put some of my favorite posts in the side bar so they are easier to find.

I hope you'll come back; I'm sure the dogs will be up to something soon!
