In another life
Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 12:35PM
In another life, or so it almost seems, I was a preschool teacher. It's been so long ago now that I seem to have almost forgotton that fact. Until I come across something like this:
This little guy's name is Myron. He would be a junior in high school now.
I remember Myron because he had a special name for me: Mz. Shemboogey. With a last name like Shenberger I've heard it all--Mrs. Hamburger, Mrs. Cheeseburger, Mrs. Shoeberger, but my favorite was Mz. Shemboogey.

Cute!
How cute.
Wouldn't it be cool if Myron found this and saw that you remembered him?
I wonder if any of my former teachers have pictures or even remember me? I wonder if any of them are still alive?
I'm sure teaching me aged them beyond their years.
The fact that you are able to work with pre-schoolers makes you Wonderwoman to me, Mrs. Cheeseburger (my personal fav from your list). I am not overly gifted with young ones. Being able to work with pre-schoolers, to me, is a gift.
That is way too cute. I want a Myron, too! Actually, I have a Bjorn. He calls me Miss Moxwee. I likes it.
