What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Teaching an old dog new tricks

Come on, Eve. Don't walk away! Play with us!

I'll show you. First, you get ready.

Then you catch it and run real fast.

Then you bring it back to Dad.

OK. Your turn. Not yet? Let's go through this again.

Watch and learn. Hey! Where'd she go?

So cute!!

Do your dogs shed much? Just wondering.

No, they really don't shed much at all. Occasionally I will find a dog hair on some dark clothing but even then it only looks like a golden eyelash. They have a very sleek, short coat--very clean dogs.

I have heard from other V owners that their dogs shed more than mine, but compared to other breeds I think it's fair to say that they don't shed a whole lot.

Eve just isn't into that whole "playing" concept, is she?

No, not really. But last night she finally did chase "Leon" (the red bone--get it?) but when it got right down to it, Ivy didn't like that very much.

Eve is a sweet, loving, patient, loyal snuggler. Who needs playing, right?

(three guesses who named the dog toy Leon and the first two don't count.)

I already KNOW who named the red bone Leon..........there wasn't a doubt in my mind about that!!

The funny thing is that our Pastor picked up on it right away. Tom told Ivy to "Go get Leon" and quick as lightning Bill said, "Redbone?"
