Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt: Lost

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!Bakker, Frans.

When I saw this (it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I love foggy days)...I really 1st thought of the Loch Ness Monster.
Wonderful photo.
Mine's up.
Have a great weekend Kim!!
Oh no! I hope you weren't lost , Kim. Is there a story behind this photo?
Hi Wystful 1
That's funny you should mention Nessie because the day I took the picture I thought the same thing!
Hi MissM,
No, I wasn't lost, thankfully. I thought I wouldn't have an entry for this week because I couldn't think of a picture that fit the theme. Then I came across this one while I was looking for something else and it seemed to fit.
It was just one of those early morning fogs over the lake that burns off as soon as the sun comes up. Just a few short minutes after I took that picture, the fog began to tear up and blow across the lake in big ragged sheets and was soon gone. We could actually see it approach us as we stood on the dock and envelope us as it swept by.
How amazing!
That's a beautiful picture,& it's easy to picutre someone lost in all that fog. Good Choice!
Beautiful. Love the story too. This was a tricky one though.
Great photo. It does fit the theme well.
It is a beautiful picture, dramatic and romantic too! glad you didn't get lost, happys saturday!
It would certainly be easy to GET lost in fog that heavy! Wow! It's really beautiful... but I'm a lover of all things weather!
Oh, this photo gave me shivers! Great one! And no dogs in it - I tried to figure out in advance how will you picture Eve being lost *grin*
Cool pic!
Thanks for stopping by mine :)
Hi Eija!
hehehe You know me so well! I DID try to find a photo of the dogs that depicted the theme but it was not to be. Ivy will return next week, though, in one of my favorite pictures. I've posted it a couple of times already so I imagine I'll cause a few eyes to roll, but I'm having fun with this and this is my blog, right? Besides, I know that you'll enjoy seeing Ives dreaming!
Haven't got to yours yet; it takes me all day to get around to all of them.

Hi Kim,
We often have fog like this in the SF Bay Area! Sometimes it's even heavier and doesn't burn off till early afternoon. We also have tule fog which is really thick and dangerous for driving.
Beautiful photo...
great fog pic. good interpretation!
Wow beautiful shot :)
This is pretty cool. With all that fog I'd say you really can get lost.
Thanks for passing by.
Great photo! Makes me think of taking a nap and just relaxing! =)
Very cool photo :) - I used to see fog all the time when I lived in Germany. Not much fog in AZ :)
Have a wonderful weekend...
