What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

The Dog Blog

I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog about Vizslas. I have reserved a blogspot and have started to move some of the posts about my dogs to that blog.

If I do decide to develop this dog blog, my thought is to post articles about training, hunt and field competion, agility and conformation along with links to interesting or funny Vizsla stories. (There are a million stories out there that do not include my two!) I am hoping to get some Vizsla experts to submit articles and/or stories.

Anyway, since this is Blog Your Dog day, and since I have a miserable cold and just don't feel too good today, I thought I'd go ahead and post the link in lieu of a new post.

If you've read this blog at all, you already know my dogs, Ivy and Eve. If you want to get a "V fix" follow the link. (I'll try to get some puppie pictures up sometime today)

If I felt up to blogging about my dogs today, I might blog about how living with dogs has affected my decorating scheme:

(Note the "lovely" and ever present, ever changing array of quilts, throws and blankets that are tucked on my couch now.)

Kim, thanks for giving me your link. Your dog is beautiful! I hope you feel better soon. In the meantime, take two dog hugs and call us in the morning.

Kim,
I'm sorry to hear that you don't feel well. I'm praying that it'll pass quickly and the sun will shine again soon too. :)

I've already told you how beautiful I think your dogs are, but I suppose you can't hear it too often. So, your dogs are beautiful.

And Kim, you'll probably never know how grateful I am for you and your kind words. God bless you, friend!

Lauren,

I am so happy that you have been comforted in that situation.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.

I guess nobody's spoiled or anything at your house, right? Yeah. Mine, either. Right.

They are gorgeous animals. Maybe I could start a mutt blog?

What beautiful dogs!!

Spoiled, puha, with all the love and devotion that dogs give us... ok, justify it all I want... yes, they are spoiled (don't worry, mine is too).

I've come home the last few days to find that Ruby has actually pulled the blinket off the back of the couch onto the seat so she could sleep! lol

Hi Jackie!

Thanks for visiting and for leaving a comment.

I like Ruby. What a sweet dog! I'm glad you spoil her!
