What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

This is so Me

You Are a Plain Ole Cup of Joe

But don't think plain - instead think, uncomplicated
You're a low maintenance kind of girl... who can hang with the guys
Down to earth, easy going, and fun! Yup, that's you: the friend everyone invites.
And you're dependable, too. Both for a laugh and a sympathetic ear.

I'm definitely a plain Jane coffee drinker. Black, strong, hot and lots of it! No decaf for me! I've cut back on my coffee drinking a bit in the past year or so, but I still have my two cups of real, homebrewed coffee in the morning. I used to drink a whole pot, but two steaming mugs of hi-test are better than a whole pot of decaf, don't you think?

What about you? What kind of coffee drinker are you?

(I must confess that I am also a grammar nut. I had to change the code from "And your dependable too" to "And you're dependable, too.")

I was a plain old cup of joe, too.

Not surprised.

I call myself a comfort drinker. I like coffee when I'm tired, cold, or bored. And I want everything in it! Sugar, cream (flavored if you've got it) and a bit of whipped cream on the top finishes it off. (that's for the extra special days). So, for me, it's almost a desert really. :-) If I have to have it black, I won't have it at all.

Ditto for me, momrn2! I love it loaded, esp. w/whipped cream and cinnamon on top. I am a huge cafe au lait fan. Yet, my favorites must still be teas, especially chai.

I don't drink coffee. Just the smell makes me feel nauseated! :P

I'm schizo. Somedays I like decaf- with skim milk. Other times, lots of frothy milk and a little maple sugar. Today I was at Costco and they had hazelnut vanilla beans on sale. Hadn't had those in a few years, so I bought a bag. Maybe they'll be the flavour of the year. Who knows? All I know is I need a lot of help in determing my "coffee identity".:)

As I told momrn2 in her comments, even though I drink my coffee "like a man" I have one of those pod coffeemakers, too, so if you come for coffee at my house, I could serve up something sweet and frothy.

Sally and Kyle, you're out of luck. Jake might share one of his Mountain Dews with you! (to me THAT's yuck)
