Tuesday's Treasures
Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 10:07AM
I've shared some of Sam's artwork before on my blog. His artwork, whether it was from his toddler days or this week, is a treasure to me. I have a folder full of special pieces he has drawn over the years and sometimes I'll come across something from years ago in a book or a drawer. They never fail to make me smile.
Here are two pictures of an elephant he drew in charcoal when he was 10. It hangs in his room in this house, but I had it hanging in the hallway to the kitchen in our last house. I miss seeing it everyday and I always love seeing it when I go into his room. I hope you'll enjoy seeing it as much as I do!

What a wonderful thing!
I have one of youngest daughter's water colors in the downstairs bathroom. It has an elephant, too.
She was only 7 when she did it, so it's not quite as sophisticated as Sam's, but it's still cute...
I love it. A treasure indeed. He did this at 10 years old? Cool! Thanks for playing.
Wow Wow Wow!! Ten years old and he did that - now that's some talent! It's got such depth and detail. Wonderful - thanks for showing us this!
Very talented! Drawing has never been my talent, though I always wished it was!!
That is a great picture of an elephant, Kim. AND it's even more special because your boy did it. I love it.
