What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Judex20

Finished twenty times through Jude today.

Because of the similarity in focus, I am going to tackle 2 Peter next.

You went 20 times through Jude? Maybe I should have done Jude like I'd planned. Nah. I'm really convinced I was led to Luke. But if I'd done Jude I'd have one book down and 66 to go. There must be a sense of satisfaction in that.

Okay, 12 more times through Luke and I'll know.

Seriously. I didn't know you were doing this.

Hi Carol,

Yes, I got the idea from you! I have done 3 John, and now Jude.

I'm going to take as long as I need to do this. I think the key is to just keep doing it, whether you are reading a short book or a long. I'll admit, I want to have established the discipline before I tackle Romans or Matthew or Leviticus! (hehehe)
