2 Year Blogging Anniversary
Monday, October 1, 2007 at 07:08AM Two years ago today I tentatively clicked the publish button for the first time at Hiraeth, first hosted at Blogspot. I later moved Hiraeth to a different url at Blogspot and eventually made the final move to Squarespace.
This past year has been full of personal challenges and some heartaches, joy and discovery, thanksgiving and study. In the past year, I started Bookworm Bookmarks, an online business right here at Hiraeth. I certainly haven't gotten rich, but I have had a great deal of fun with it!
Because of the personal events in my life, along with the work of establishing Bookworm Bookmarks and home schooling a high schooler, the blogging has been less frequent and less substantive. At times I've felt frustrated and discouraged and frequently I've wondered if I should simply fold up the blog and concentrate on bookmarks. But every time I've been ready to throw in the towel, I've been encouraged by a kind remark from my readers.
Today feels like a new start. Some of the difficult challenges of the last year are now behind me and the possibilities of the next few months are both encouraging and exciting!
So, this morning, I'm raising my coffee mug to another year of blogging at Hiraeth and praying for God's guidance and direction in the coming year, both on this blog and in my life!

Hard to believe it has been 2 years already.I don't have a blog for various reasons, but one reason is because I wouldn't be able to think up enough stuff to say on a regular basis. And because I don't want to....Glad you're enjoying it, though!! I enjoy coming here to read every day!!
