Today's the Day
I've noticed that this is de-lurking day on several blogs. I don't think I've ever "delurked this blog." The potential for embarrassingly small responses has always kept me from it.
But today, I am taking a risk and going along with flow. If you're reading and you've never commented before, today is the day. Say hello. Introduce yourself if I don't know you yet. Introduce yourself if I DO know you in real life, but you've never commented, so everyone can get to know you a little.
If you've commented before, you can still comment and let me know you're still reading. With the recent move, I've lost a few readers along the way. It would encourage me to know you're out there!
For those of you who have followed me over here from Blogger, I have a question. How do you like Hiraeth on Squarespace? Does anything need to be changed to make the navigation easier? How about the content? How do you like Spurgeon compared to God's Minute? Feedback is appreciated. Eija had some suggestions about my template that really made a difference. You might have some ideas, too.
Let the de-lurking begin.

Hi Kim,
I don't read your blog every day but some days I do and then I usually go back and read up on what I missed. I enjoy it but I don't think about commenting. Yours is the first blog I ever read! In fact, I had to ask Emily what a blog was when you first mentioned it.
Now that I commented this first time, maybe I will do it again.
Hi Dorothy!
I'm glad you took me up on the challenge!
Now that you're here, why don't you go check out Hiraeth Warehouse, my reading blog. (You can find it in the sidebar under My Blogs)
I posted up our discussion questions for ESG and also included some of the other materials I am working through in preparation for our study next Thursday. There are some extra reading links you might want to check out in all your spare time. (spare time?--what's that, right?)
I have to admit Kim, I really couldn't say, um... I know J. Edwards a bit, if you quoted him all year, I'd get to know him more and I suppose that is a good thing, but there is that possibility that it would get old and therefore not appeal as much (you know how the mind shuts out the familiar) Somehow that doesn't look right to me... but it would be interesting I'm sure regardless of what you do. :)
Hi again, Annette,
I appreciate your opinion re: weekly JEdwards. I"ve been giving it a lot of thought and I think I may focus on him, but not exclusively. I think you've made a couple of good points. Thanks for taking the time to weigh in!
You wrote this on Thursday? Has it been so long since I've been here? Gosh, seems I've really been busy!
About squarespace - I don't use it, but as a visitor I don't like one thing about it: The links it makes for the commenters. I often want to take my mouse over the person's name to see the blog address behind it. But SS doesn't give that, but some "unregistered commenter" text. And if I want to see the address, I actually have to click the link to see the url! Oh, I think it's beyond annoying! But then again, I'm weird :D
