Oh, What a Feeling!

It was just below zero when I left for the grocery store this morning.  When I hopped into my freezing cold '94 Toyota Camry, I remembered that I was almost out of gas.  Uh, oh.  That's like inviting fuel line freeze-up for a visit, isn't it?

I turned the key and it started right up.  It always does.  After 15 years and 170,177 miles this car is amazing.

Think I can drive it for 20 years?  I'm beginning to think I can!

I am SO tired of winter! Tired of it! I'm glad you've got a good car, though.

Hi Kim,
When my Dad and I had the auto repair shop, we quite often saw Toyotas and Nissans with well over 200,000 miles on then. My Dad, who has been a mechanic all his working life, always said the single most important thing you can do is change the oil frequently and faithfully.
Yours should serve you well if you maintain it!

Absolutely, you can, Kim. It's a Toyota. Two years ago I gave my 1988 Toyota Celica, which ran like new, back to my dad. It's still going. XO
