What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Meet My New Neighbor

puppy-crop.jpg

Isn't he darling?  He needs a name.

Any suggestions?

Leave your puppy names in the comments.  If my neighbor picks YOUR suggestion, I'll send you something in the mail.  (Hmmm, what do you suppose THAT will be?)

My suggestion?

Hank.

He's obviously Barney. Just look at him. He's Barney.
A dog's name has to have two syllables. Baarrr-ney!

I have heard that about dog names needing two syllables. Eve has only one syllable and it works very nicely.

Hank is a great dog name.

My suggestion is Paco.

Kim, I often can't see your photos (like now). I wonder why?

I can't see the photo either...

I'm curious. Were you using Firefox or IE?

When I checked in Firefox only that photo was missing. A refresh brought it in.

It was fine in IE.

Wow! What breed is that? Looks like my Pepe, except that he's black! Pepe's grandmom is black too, so could that puppy be a Petit Brabancon? Or a black pug? Gorgeous he is, in any case...

In Finland many black dogs are named "Laku" (=licorice). Or "Musti" (=blackie). Pepe's black grandmom's name is Negro Spiritual and they call her "Nekru) which is the same as the not-so-nice-word Ni**er. Pepe's dad's name is Mafioso, he's black and tan.

How about Moriz? Even though that's reserved for my next puppy...

Yes. I think the pup looks French, too.

How about Bruno or Benoit (blessed).

or Chuck.

Champ.

Justin's suggestion is TAGU! :)

I think he looks like a tough little guy. My suggestion is Buster.

Looks like a Winston to me:)

Snape? Oh, my...you have a "dark" side!

(little sniggers :) )

btw, a "refresh" didn't load the page, but I can see the pics in IE.
