QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Did you remember?

Did you remember to move your turkey from the freezer to the 'fridge?

I did.  Here's the little one.  The big one is thawing in the basement 'fridge. Total turkey poundage?  29 pounds.  We like turkey sandwiches.  : D

I moved my 20-pounder this afternoon. I hope it's ready to cook by Thursday morning.

Yep, sure did. I transferred my 18 pounder yesterday. My guys are looking forward to the feast, then the sandwiches, and then the soup. Not necessarily in consecutive days!

We love turkey, too! But our family gathering will be smaller this year, so I simply took our 14 pounder straight from the store to the extra fridge in our garage.

We make turkey gumbo (my husband is a genuine Cajun) the day after Thanksgiving! Yum!!!!

Oh my goodness that is one huge turkey!! I'll be in Seattle tomorrow night so I can't fill my refrigerator with anything till Wednesday! Thankfully Lana G is there already and she bought the turkey for us and is defrosting it....
Blessings...
