What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
It is not work that kills men, it is worry. Work is healthy; you can hardly put more on a man than he can bear. But worry is rust upon the blade. It is not movement that destroys the machinery, but friction."

Henry Ward Beecher

Giving Thanks in November

button.JPGToday is Saturday.  A day to sleep in, to catch up, to work outside, to cook, to read, to rest, to talk.  A day to check things off "the list."

Saturdays are always busy but rarely that crazy blurr of activity kind of busyness.  There is a pace that goes along with Saturday that I love.   Sleep in.  Cook a nice breakfast.  Sit at the table by the window together and linger over the newspapers and coffee.

I'm off to do my Saturday thing.

Lord, thank you for the busyness of Saturdays and the love of my family.
