What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

uh, oh

uh%20oh1.JPGAt precisely 7:45 this morning, my computer reminded me that I had an appointment at 8:00 am.

What a wonderful thing it is to have a computer program that pops up automatically and tells you what you are supposed to be doing.

Or, at least,  it would be if the person who set the appointment with the wonderful computer program had remembered to type into the subject line where the appointment would be or had noted in some small way why the appointment was set.

So, really, what I have this  morning is a wonderful computer program that pops up automatically and tells me how forgetful I am.

 Sigh. . .

Maybe you need to try my system: Post It notes, all over the fridge--to do lists, must remember lists, reminders starred and circled--you get the idea! it is not foolproof, however, because sometimes you write it and you post it, but still you forget it...

I've caught myself doing that at work. We have a computer calendar program, and a couple of times, I've entered something and haven't put in what case it's about.... Those are some frantic moments! Hope you figured out what it was!! :)
