I think I'm weird

The wind is howling loudly in the window nearby as a winter storm winds itself up and prepares to snow and blow all this day.

I love that sound.  I find myself sitting here anticipating the next clamorous, moaning shriek.  Rather than being creepy and scary as in old horror movies, it seems cozy somehow.

I think I'm weird.

I am just tickled pink! The storm hit sooner than expected here ... everything is closing ... I get to stay home, too. Today is my hubby's birthday and since I am home we are going out for breakfast. We have a 4x4 and there is a restaurant nearby that has great pancakes. I love going out for a ride in the truck in the snow. Fresh snow makes everything white and clean again. We should do 'snow' poems today on our blogs! Oh, the weather outside is frightful .. but I'm lovin' it, too! Keep warm and cozy, enjoy your day ...
