Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt

Soft

Next Week's Theme:  Salty

This is Eve's last litter.  Seven velvety puppies.  There is nothing so warm and soft as a tiny, silken Vizla puppy.

(If you want to see more pictures of the puppies as they got older, you can see them here and here.)

Oh yes....you described the new litter perfectly...soft and warm!!

My SOFT bunny is posted for this week.

How sweet Kim. Nothing like puppy breath and soft, warm paws! You brought back a flood of memories from when my Dad and I raised beagles and ran them in Beagle field trials. Our kennel was Hickory Hill Kennels. I still have my jacket with our kennel name and a beagle on the back, our breeding books, field trial books, even Dad's journal of food, vets bills, etc. Thanks so much for this soft remembrance.

Aw, little babies. I love the colour of them - do you know, I don't think I've ever seen a Vizsla in the flesh?

Okay, Kim. I would totally take one of those milk chocolate babies even over a Hershey bar! They are adorable. I need a Vizla instructional--it's a breed I've never even heard about, but now, I'm in love!

Kim, I love your "soft" picture! Those babies are so adorable!

Pam, Eve went back to the breeder while she was having her pups so we didn't get to enjoy all the puppy fun but our breeder is a friend of ours so we got lots of puppy pictures and some time with the litter when we went to visit Eve on maternity leave.

Check out October 2005 in the Blogger Vizslocity archives and you can see some pictures of the pups at about 8 weeks or so.

Rebecca, I'm telling ya, you need to come for a visit. Then you can meet ME and the dogs, too!

Elle, why don't you take a few minutes sometime to check out the archives (blogger and squarespace) of Vizslocity, my dog blog. You'll find links in the side bar.

These are fun and affectionate dogs and you really would fall in love!

Oh my gosh, they are adorable! I can almost feel them from here...not a breed I've heard of either. Cute, cute!

Oh they are sweet and soft. Happy weekend.

They do look soft! I am not a dog person but those dogs are gorgeous!

So sweet, Kim. I didn't know you bred Vizslas.

Oh, we don't breed Vizslas, but our girl Eve was originally owned by our breeders and we got her when they "retired" her. She came to live with us just two years ago (yesterday, in fact!) but she had one more litter for them before she came to stay with us forever.

She is a very sweet girl with a wonderful personality and produced wonderful pups; many are very successful--both in conformity and in the field.
