What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

I remember these cards. We used to get so excited on Valentine's Day in school. We would decorate a big box with hearts and fancy frills and then cut a slit in the top of the box. Then we would put all our cards in the box - one for each kid in your class. Sometimes the boys would just sign "Guess who" on the cards instead of their names. There was a lot of tittering, blushing and sideways glances in the classroom on that day.

Those weird little girl super-short dresses have just vanished, haven't they? And headbands - I still see little girls with the occasional headband on, but neither of my daughters can keep them on their heads.
Valentines just aren't as cute now - they're all the Incredible Hulk or Hello Kitty or Disney Princesses. I'm always trying to convince my kids that we should make ours, but nope.

I remember these from last year. It's amazing to me that you've had them all this time.
