Sisters
Friday, May 18, 2007 at 05:06AM Look what my sister, Kathy, gave me when I was back home last week:
That's Kathy, holding my hand. When I look at that picture, I am reminded of how many times my sister has "held my hand" over the years. Of all God's blessings to me, my sister is one of the very best. Is there any friend so wonderful as a sister?

Since I lost my mom when I was so young, I think my sister and I were even closer as a result. We haven't lived in the same place in decades, but our hearts are still kindred. For that, I am thankful :).
How very, very special Kim! I do not have a sister either, just a brother. But God gave me some very special girl friends ... some I have in the flesh and others like you I have online. We are all sisters in Christ, some are just closer than others. Brings to mind this verse: Prov. 27:9 (ESV) "Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of friend comes from his earnest counsel." Your counsel has been sweet Kim ... as iron sharpens iron. thanks for sharing this special treasure with us.
I always wished for a sister! Instead, I have two wonderful brothers who are precious to me..
