What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

For the young reader

read_GFY_grn ppl_bmk.JPG

I just finished this new bookmark for young readers.  If you want to see it in several other color combinations, you can pop over to Bookworm Bookmarks and see it there.

Oh, and the source of the quote?  Why, my own self, of course, along with every other mother who ever had a reluctant reader!

Lovely!
Speaking of young readers - a certain one in my house fell asleep with her bookmark clutched in her hand tonight. Just fyi!

Funny. . .my mother was always trying to get me to STOP reading and go outside or something. Or empty the dishwasher. This is a great bookmark!

hehehe!

That was me, too! I was always lolling around with a book. If my mom made me go outside, I'd take a book with me. I read parts of the Hobbit and the LOTR for the first time in the crook of a willow tree. Imagine how I delighted in Old Man Willow and Tree Beard as I read. . .
