Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

That first flower is gorgeous...what is it? (Question from garden challenged person)
It's a white peony. The plant is three years old this year and this is the first time it's had any blooms on it. I am delighted because it was just a tiny, tiny sprout when it was given to me by my neighbor and all this time I've wondered what color it would be, since she has several colors and couldn't remember which plant the start came from!~Kim
Mmmm...it all looks so inviting. And what a beautiful tribute to George. XO I thought it was a fitting marker because many years and five cats ago, Tom told me that that stone kitty would be the only one I would ever have! I believed him until a stray cat who we named "Banjo" jumped up into the window sill to hide from a storm and answered the prayers of a very young boy who wanted a kitty. Wives can be denied, but apparently four year old boys cannot! Banjo so won Tom's cat hating heart that the next two kitties, Henry and Lloydd, were his idea!! ~Kim
My husband had the same cold heart toward kitties until one little, emaciated kitten showed up at his doorstep last year. We're keeping her AND her babies!
I miss George. Me, too, Sally. I missed Banjo and Henry and Lloydd, but not like this. George was really something, wasn't he? Buster is "waking up" a bit now that George is not always on center stage. He's "finding his voice", figuratively and vocally. As a Persian kitty, he's always been a talker, but now he is really getting more and more vocal everyday and even sweeter, if that is possible. I think he needs people more now that George is gone. . . ~Kim
