Freewheelin'

I was just out on my front porch letting the dogs out to go potty when a guy who looked JUST LIKE Robert Zimmerman (yes, Bob Dylan) drove by the front of the house. He looked JUST LIKE him. All craggy and scruffy with sticky-uppy hair. And old. Old enough to be the REAL Bob Dylan.
Really.
No kidding.
I think he was even smoking a cigarette.
Funny thing, though, I never would have thought Dylan would drive a red Sedona mini-van.
(And yes, the post title, Freewheelin', is a reference to Dylan's second album, The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan. )

Is this a special friday the 13th post? :)
You make me smile.
No! It's true. It happened just like that!! The guy even slowed down as he drove past the house to get a good look at my two beautiful red dogs, so I got a very good look at his face. There is a modest mansion for sale right down the street from our house. Jake and I think it really WAS Mr. Zimmerman and he might just want to live on a quiet street in a quiet Chicago suburb. Anyway, that's what we came up with to explain my apparent Dylan sighting. heheheh
Well! It sounds like the real Bob Dylan to me.
That's my story and I'm sticking with it! ; )
Yikes! I was just listening to Bob Dylan TODAY (queue the "Twilight Zone" music). Not exactly JUST BD, I was listening to "We are the World"...circa 1985...and loved it all over again. So much so, I posted it on MY blog...ha!We came across a bit of that a week or so ago on TV. Watched Bono in his mullet and leather pants marching back and forth. It was pretty funny.
Bob Dylan! In your neighbourhood driving a minivan! That Bob. He's so full of surprises.
Oh, I thought of you last night! A Jesuit priest friend was over with his dog who looked... familiar, so I asked him what sort of dog she was and she was a Vizla! If I remember correctly, you're not overly fond of dogs, are you? Did you like the V? They can be rambuctious, but they are always so loving.
Oh, yes. I could see Bob Dylan in a red minivan over a red sports car. He's just that type.
