Tuna Brownies
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
Drain 2 regular sized cans of tuna and pour into large mixing bowl.
Mix in 2 eggs.
Mix in 1 1/2 cups of rice or potato flour.
Add 1 tablespoon of garlic powder (or substitute with crushed garlic)
Blend well, and spread about 1/4 inch thick in a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden. (Might take longer) Cool and cut into tiny squares. Store in an airtight container and freeze until ready to use.
Ivy highly recommends them!

Kim, I am SO thankful you put that "Dog Treats" title on there...my husband was reading over my shoulder and coudn't see the title and thought that was what I was cooking for supper tonight. I told him not to worry, he wasn't in the doghouse....yet. :)
I didn't read the title before I started reading - ick!
But good for dogs.
What a great recipe! Thanks for sharing, Kim! Tanner's birthday was yesterday, but I might still make him a treat.... :)
The words "Tuna" and "Brownies" could really not go together in any recipe but for a dog, and even then I shudder just a little...
I'm sure Libby (Lab) would love them just as much as Ivy does.
So you make even doggy treats yourself? I'm way too lazy for that!
When I still lived at home my sister had a black lab who loved to eat celery sticks. Mom used to give her those, then she'd come over to me and pant all that celery-smell right at my face - yuck! (Needless to say, I've always hated celery...) For that very reason I'd leave the garlic out of this recipe - a dog that smells like garlic would simply be too much!
Hallo, what a great recipe. Surely dogs like it.
I found your website by searching for Tuna and dog. We have a dog named Tuna. She is 2 years and 3 months and of course she has her own blog: http://tuna.bloggagratis.se.
Please come and visit her!
Best wishes,
Tuna and her family
