What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
It is not work that kills men, it is worry. Work is healthy; you can hardly put more on a man than he can bear. But worry is rust upon the blade. It is not movement that destroys the machinery, but friction."

Henry Ward Beecher

20 to 30 below 0?

Local TV coverage of Chicagoland's deep freeze.  Could get down to -30 overnight.

All of you moms with teenage drivers?  You know--the ones who think they don't need a hat and gloves because they're only going to be driving about 5 minutes from home?  Have them watch this coverage--you just never know when you might get stopped on the road.  This weather is downright dangerous!

BRR! That's crazy cold! It's only going to -24 (-11 for you) here - but I make sure that my husband has a cell phone and an emergency kit whenever he travels this time of year.

You would just crack up at what the Whimpy Southern Californians call cold. We're suppose to get a really cold front coming in on Monday and Tuesday. Ha! Maybe we'll only hit 57 degrees with a low of 40!!! :)
