What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

A Letter a Week:  N

N is for nut and since all of my grandson's grandparents and great-grandparents as well as both his parents were born and raised in Ohio, there MUST be a buckeye on this one!

The Ohio Buckeye is the state tree of Ohio and, of course, The Buckeyes or 'The Bucks' is the name for The.Ohio.State.University's teams.  It is also the name of a chocolate and peanut butter candy made in the shape of a buckeye nut. (You can find the recipe at the link).

Or, if you prefer, you can also check out the ABC weekly no comment site and browse all in one place.

I love the shapes and colours you have here. I'd never heard of the Buckeye, so you're educating me well!

Lovely drawing. Mine was nuts too, dropping from the trees of the island of Crete, Greece.

Those Ohio people are SO crazy about the buckeyes! I root for them because my friend Gretchen married an Ohio man. I can't root for them in front of my dad because he LOVES Penn State! I'm not that crazy about football, but I am crazy about all of your beautiful letters! Hope you have a great week. Thank you for praying for Quince!

Do you know that it wasn't until I read your post that I understood what a *buckeye* was.
ABC Wednesday is very educational isn't it?

Nuts is the perfect word and post for the letter N. Yes those Ohio Buckeyes are in a class by themselves and have some of the best Spirit I have encountered.

Great post as always!
In Greece we say: "Nuts doesn't go to the mountains".
