I 'heart' Faces
What a fun way for me to ease back into blogging after my long holiday break!!
Today I'd like to introduce you to a friend of mine, Angie, from The Arthur Clan. Many of you may already be hooked on her funny, beautiful, sometimes breath-taking blog, but for those of you who haven't yet visited Angie, I urge you to do so.
I briefly got to know Angie when I lived in Ohio, not long before we moved to Illinois. I met her at a Stampin' Up party where she was the demonstrator/consultant and she soon became my own Stampin' Up 'connection' and also my friend. Sadly, I moved away not long after we met and we lost contact for several years, but we reconnected through blogging this year, to my great delight.
Since our old Stampin' Up days, Angie has developed another great talent and passion--photography. Just in the last six months or so since I've been following her blog, I have seen Angie continue to develop, stretch, and grow as a photographer in amazing leaps and bounds. She truly has a gift.
She also has a gift for story telling. She has a great talent for communicating those normal, day in and day out kinds of family events and activities with humor and charm.
But I think both those gifts--photography and story telling--spring from her true gift; that of bringing people together and extending friendship.
This morning I discovered that Angie has been busy developing a new photography sharing blog: I Love Faces:
The purpose of her new blog?
to provide a photography sharing forum that focuses on the art of capturing faces and their various emotions. Each week, bloggers from across the world will have the opportunity to enter their favorite face photos into two different categories ~ kids and adults. A judge will pick a winning photo from each category that will then be displayed on our home page.
So, if you are a photographer, here's a fun way to share your photos with the world. Please do go visit Angie today, either at her family blog The Arthur Clan or most especially at her new photography venture, I Love Faces (or is that I Heart Faces?) Either way, I'm sure Angie will appreciate your encouragement and support and I'm also sure that if you visit her, you'll find a friend.

I'm on my way!
You don't even have to be a photographer to enjoy the pictures! Which is very good- because my pictures don't have anything going for them except to help illustrate the story! Her new blog looks like it will be great!
Oh Kim ~ thank you so much for that wonderful "plug" for the new website. You have me almost in tears with your kind words. It has been a highlight of my year reconnecting with you through our blogs!
~Angie
We can't thank you enough for spreading the word Kim! :)
