It's 4 degrees out.  Sunny, but bitterly cold; colder than February should be.

Don't tell the little sparrow in the bushes outside my window.

He might stop singing.

Yesterday, my oldest daughter came in from outside and in her sing-song-y voice declared, "Mommy! Spring is coming! I can hear birds singing!!" She loves flowers and birds.

We are having somewhat warmer weather here, thankfully. The kids and I got out in the yard yesterday and actually pulled some weeds from flowerbeds as preparation.
