What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

April 1

Today is April 1 and for the first time since probably way back in December, there is NO SNOW in my yard.  That's right. The last icy hold out that's been shrouding my soon-to-be returning bleeding hearts has finally melted away.

The Indians and the Cubbies are playing baseball, March Madnes is almost over, the birds are singing their heads off at 4:10 every morning, and now the snow is gone.

I guess that means spring is here, finally.

Fitting that it should be on April Fool's Day.  I'm probably a fool to think we're done with snow. . .

Well, Kim, I do think the April Fool's joke is on us. I just came back from taking Charlie for a walk and little, tiny white things were falling on us. Not exactly snow, more like....wintry mix.
