Quotes All the purposes of man have been defeated, but not the purposes of God. The promises of man may be broken—many of them are made to be broken—but the promises of God shall all be fulfilled. He is a promise-maker, but He never was a promise-breaker; He is a promise-keeping God, and every one of His people shall prove it to be so. This is my grateful, personal confidence, "The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me"—unworthy me, lost and ruined me.

Like changing fonts?? Good quote!
heheheh. The weather has been too fine to pursue that--gardening is calling me, but you are right; that is what brought this quote to mind. Another one I thought of is the one we have taped inside Sam's school cabinet: All things are difficult before they are easy!"
I remember what I said on the "lost" comment...two words:
FANTASTIC QUOTE!
:)
I was thinking about your Picasso quote while I was doing some rose care this morning. Thank God these roses seem pretty hardy and resilient in the face of my uncertain care of them!
