What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

OHH! I like it. What a wonderful job you did and what a great improvement. These colors make the wood seem so much more rich...

As you can see, I just couldn't make the fabric stretch far enough, so I had to use the chenille on the front instead of the back. That was disappointing, but having the pillow to splash some of the color on the front of the chair back helps a little. I'm still glad I used the tapestry, even though it was a compromise.

Love it! Thanks for showing us the finished treasure. And just in time for that grandbaby to come!

What a happy chair! It has such a story to tell already, and lots of really good grandma/grandson times ahead. What pleasure you must have had working on the chair with that in mind. We anticipate with you!

I'm impressed. Very good use of what fabric you had.

good job Kim. Though the first before picture had me wondering what you did...I couldn't at first see the pillow. The second pic made that MUCH clearer to me. Good job. :)

Yes, it was hard to get a picture of the black pillow on the black background--it looks much better in person!
