Finally Buckling Down

I am finally buckling down and setting out to learn how to make Celtic knots the 'right' way. It's something I've
wanted needed to learn to do for some time, but it's tedious and complicated and hard not to get all tangled up.
It is proving even harder than I thought it would be. So far, I've made two very small pieces--one made up of four triangle knots and one made up of four pretzel knots. It has taken me all afternoon to accomplish this and my work is only so-so at best. (I worked in pencil, so some of the lines didn't show up too great when I scanned, but they're all there--I promise. What I DON'T promise is that they're all in the right place!)
Are there any other "knotters" out there?

Hi Kim. I'm not a knotter, but I sure appreciate your craft. I'm impressed by your dedication and hard work.

They look amazing!
Well done!
I'd like to see more of these...
Thanks, MissM! Even though this is extremely basic stuff, it still lends a pretty pattern, doesn't it?
This is slow going! I'll post a picture again when I have something a bit more complete. That might be a while. Right now, the learning curve is steep and I just need to practice everyday.
