I love that word "sesquipedalian!" And its one I've actually heard before!
Usually, I post up the words that I don't know already, but sometimes I post the ones I like! As you know, I love big sesquipedalian words, the sequipedalian-er the better! Believe it or not, it was very hard to write those sentences of one syllable words!
I also love your new banner! What a perfect lily!
I tend to be sesquipedalian and it totally irritates some of my friends. But I read- a lot- and it tends to affect your vocabulary!
I don't know if you ever read fantasies- but Stephen R. Donaldson writes interesting analogies(not necessarily "Christian") - and his vocabulary is amazing! I have to revert to my high school practice of reading with dictionary at hand.
Definitely sesquipedalian ! And why does spellcheck keep telling me it is spelled wrong?
I'll have to check out Donaldson's writing! I love big words and, being a great reader myself, have quite a few in my repetoire! Have no idea why your spell check is telling you it's spelled wrong!
*LOL* Just spent a week with my Dad's side of the family. . . And oh boy! Are we ever a sesquipedalious bunch!
