A Call to Prayer: Final Thoughts
Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 06:34AM
I want the times we live in to be praying times. I want the Christians of our day to be praying Christians. I want the church to be a praying church. My Heart's desire and prayer in sending forth this tract is to promote a spirit of prayerfulness. I want those who never prayed yet, to arise and call upon God, and I want those who do pray, to see that they are not praying amiss.

A Call to Prayer

Amen. I love J.C. Ryle. I have this tract too, but mine is titled, "Do you Pray? A Question for Everybody." But I've compared it to what you are writing and they are the same.
My prayers are for God's blessing on the baptism tomorrow.
If God's people do not pray- they are denying themselves the depth of relationship God intends for our strengthening and enlightenment. They are denying the body of Christ a stable platform on which to stand, they have no base to launch out to the world. If God's people do not pray, they deprive an unbelieving world from the opportunity to witness miracles and see God at work. When God's people do not pray they live a life of silence and disobedience. Keep posting calls to prayer,Kim, e sorely need to pray-individually, in family and small groups, in church groups, and as a body of believers- we NEED to address ourselves to prayer!
