A Demand for Equal Time

Ivy and Eve heard that I had imported all my old blogspot blogs over to Squarespace and they were offended that I hadn't brought their pictures and stories along with me.
So now you can find the Ivy and Eve Archives in the navigation bar at the top of the front page of Hiraeth. If you've never browsed Vizslocity before or if you just want something goofy to smile about or if you have five or ten minutes of time on your hands and your feed reading is all caught up, the girls would like you to check out their antics.

Are you happy with Squarespace? "Louis" is fed up with Blogger. There's a bug in their system that conflicts with the Mac OS and they refuse to acknowledge it. It's been going on for 27 weeks. Their response has been to hide their "Contact Support" page and shut off their support e-mail. The bug causes the browser to crash anytime "Louis" is doing anything in Blogger. Recently while trying to post, he had 19 consecutive browser crashes. It doesn't matter whether the browser is Safari or Firefox, the Blogger Bug doesn't like the Mac OS, whether 10.4.11 (when the bug appeared) or OS 10.5.x. Apple has proved to "Louis's" satisfaction that the bug isn't in the Mac OS. In the meantime, Blogger is off on a tour of de Nile....
I am delighted with Squarespace! I have had to contact support a few times and they are very friendly, responsive, and ready to work until they get things resolved, usually the same day.
The best thing for Blogger folks is the ease in which you can import your Blogger blog to Squarespace. It takes about 5 minutes and worked FLAWLESSLY for me! Brings your comments over and everything.
Squarespace offers a free 30 trial period so you can play around with it and see how it works. I never looked back.
