QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Hey, Gustav!

Thank you for bringing us rain!  Our brown, crunchy grass is gurgling and singing and I think I heard my new linden tree cheering!

The dogs act as though they've forgotten what it is to have their wet paws wiped.

I'm glad it's raining and I'm glad you've brought your best visiting manners with you for your trip to Illinois.  You can stay for a couple of days if you'd like.  As long as you're a gentleman.

Yeah for the rain for you and your brown grass! Hopefully it will be nice and green for a little while (wishful thinking?)

I even got some cooler temperatures down here in Texas. (A preview of fall.)

We could use some of that rain here, can you send some our way? Our grass is still brown and crunchy. Hasn't needed to be mowed in many weeks.
