What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

I'm thinking. . .

This Journal Entry box has been open since 6:49 am this morning.  It is now 7:54.  I've been thinking about what I should blog about.  But nothing comes to mind.  So, in the attempt to dispel the thick blogging fog that surrounds me, I will write a stream of consciousness post.  Because there ARE many things running through my mind right now.

Back to school this morning.  Ready or not--here it comes.  Sam is getting off to a slow start, too.  I still hear the shower running.

Leftover quiche warmed up in the microwave makes a very nice breakfast.

I hope the large blocks of icy snow at the end of our driveway will melt today.

I  need to kick up my time on the treadmill and add some reps to my exercise routine.

I missed plugging in the Christmas lights this morning.  There is something so cozy about seeing the reflection of the lights in the computer monitor.

Spring is coming.  I wonder if we will have robins nesting in our tree again this year.

Duncan Donuts coffee is the best.

I think Elliott will be crawling in a week or two.  All the skills are there; he just needs to put it all together.

I love that little boy.

I need to start working on Sam's diploma.

I'm worried about Jake's arm.  He has thrombositis superficial thrombophlebitis--pain and swelling--at the site of his last IV and it's not getting better.

For some reason, the font size just got tiny in my entry box.  I think I must've hit the shift button.

I need my glasses now.

There.  It is now 8:12 am.  That's enough to go on with.

(Rosemary, I put my blogging shoes on this morning.  They don't feel quite up to dancing yet, though!)

Hope everything turns out okay with Jake.

I'm praying for Jake...I hope his arm will be back to normal soon.

My Christmas tree and all of our decorations are still up. My goal is to get them all put away today. It is time for them all to go bye-bye! :)

Chuckle, chuckle, chuckle....It may not have been a full-out ballroom dance, but at least your toes were tapping! Thanks!

I'll be praying for Jake.

Other bloggers' stream of consciousness posts keep me from feeling like a freak. Thanks. And I'll be praying for Jake. Oh, and your loyal readers should get video of Elliott when he puts all those skillz togethah!

:) Thanks for the welcome to your world this morning. Felt like I was there drinking coffee with you! I've missed you - my fault entirely for not blogging. Glad you did it even with lack of deliberate words.
I'm also praying for Jake. Exciting re Elliot!!! So exciting. My little niece Poppy is crawling. :)
