What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

A peaceful sound

Rain in the downspouts on a dark morning with a cup of steaming hot coffee.

Thinking of fingerplays with Elliott:

The itsy bitsy spider went up the waterspout

Down came the rain and washed the spider out

Out came the sun and dried up all the rain

And the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again

I hope the sun will come out today.  The leaves need raking.  The windows need washing.  But for now I'll enjoy rain rattling in the gutters and images in my mind of Elliott and memories of my own boys when they were delighted with the itsy bitsy spider.

I adore the sound of rain in the downspouts and a cup of my favorite Cameron's coffee.

A little cutie doesn't hurt either ;)
