What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

When you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and Think of Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.

Giving Thanks in November

Having just returned from a quick trip to Ohio to visit our families, I am so thankful for the love of our families, for the closeness we experience whenever we return home for a visit, for safe travel, and for coming home again!

On the trip home, I was reflecting upon how much I enjoyed being with our parents, our brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and I was also thinking about how much I had missed being together with our brothers and sisters in our church family for worship this Sunday morning.

God has blessed us with the most wonderful, loving families and church family!

November is the month for giving thanks and Rebecca at Rebecca Writes is rounding up our thankful posts each day on her blog.  It's amazing how reading others' posts spur us on to greater and greater thanksgiving, so join us!  What are you thankful for today?  Leave a note in the comments or if you write about it on your own blog, send your link to Rebecca!

It's always good to visit family, isn't it; and it's always good to get home again!

I'm glad you had such a wonderful time with your "other family" in Ohio but you were certainly missed in our church family yesterday! Glad you are safely back!
