What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

I tend to live that way; I don't look back, nor do I look too far forward. I really do live in the moment most of the time. It both simplifies and complicates things from time to time but that just seems to be the way I'm wired. However, as I lettered this one, I discovered Luther's intent when I came to the capital 'D' that I had passed right over before--THAT Day! My desire in the upcoming year is to live with more awareness of THAT Day, whatever 'this' day may be.

Argg! I misspelled calendar! I'm not sure which is worse; misspelling it or not noticing it for days. . .

**blush**
