Bakker, Frans.

Dictionary Word of the Day:  beseech

beseech \bi-SEECH\, verb;
beseech, besought or beseeched, beseeching:
to ask earnestly; implore

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

What a great word. . .

When I was a pastor in the Church of Scotland, I had to ask the denomination for the loan of a car. They made me sign a document which went something like this:

I, John Stuart, humbly beseech the Church of Scotland, for the loan of a leased car...I think the original language was used a century ago for ministers who sought the loan for a horse and cart....:)
