One of my most favorite verses of the bible.
When I was a pastor in the Church of Scotland, I had to ask the denomination for the loan of a car. They made me sign a document which went something like this:
I, John Stuart, humbly beseech the Church of Scotland, for the loan of a leased car...I think the original language was used a century ago for ministers who sought the loan for a horse and cart....:)
