How do you like to go up in a swing?
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!
Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
Rivers and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside--
Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown -
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

What an awesome picture! And it's on real film, too!! :) He looks so happy - I can almost hear this crowing sound.... That is also one of my favorite poems - my mom used to read it to me when I was little. :)
Actually, the picture was taken with John's cell phone, but it reminded me of one frame from a movie reel, so I added the 'film' in my photo editing program. He IS such a happy baby!
He's so unbelievably cute! I want to reach through the screen and pinch that toddler cheek.Well, I am his grandma, but even if I wasn't, I'd think he's adorable!
I love the joy on his face! You are blessed, Kim!Yes, we really are blessed, you and I, with these precious grandsons, aren't we?
What a precious photo - and I love the quote to go with it...
Oh what fun. What a look of joy on that face~~
What cutie! some of my favorite mom memories are pushing my guys in the swing--for literal HOURS!
