What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning starts tomorrow.  I'm thinking it'll take four or five days.  Every cupboard will be cleaned, every drawer sorted, every window washed, every blind dusted, every piece of painted woodwork washed.  I love/hate spring cleaning.  It's exhausting and exhilerating at the same time.  Clean windows and clean curtains and clean behind the 'fridge all at the same time.  It's a once a year chore, a once a year luxury, a once a year sense of accomplishment.

Does anybody else do an all out spring clean?

I don't, but I should. I like the link, though. It gives me no excuse now to do what I need to do!! :)

I wish you'd come and visit me whenever you get that urge!

I used to do it in one big bang but I don't have the energy to manage it anymore. I sort of loosely follow the Flylady and do it room by room throughout the year. It doesn't give quite the same satisfying sense of accomplishment as spring cleaning but it's easier to manage physically.

Don't wear yourself out entirely!

That's a good plan to get the kitchen out of the way first. I don't think I've ever done a full on Spring clean...

Need to. Some strange part of me actually wants to. My problem is the actual DOING.

Do you hire out? :-)
