What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

One Lonely Egg

One lonely egg.  Mama has apparently abandoned this one already.  It's 40 degrees here now and it's been chilly all day, so I doubt whether this egg can survive this cold day without its Mama's feathery warmth.  That happens sometimes.  The Mama (or Papa) may come back and push this one out of the nest, making room for another nestful of beautiful, blue eggs.  I sure hope so.  I really love watching the eggs to hatchlings to fledglings drama unfolding right outside my front door!

Boy! If I was a bird this is exactly where I'd love to sit in amongst these beautiful blossoms :0)
Hope your Mother's Day was nice Kim!

How pretty and how sad.

This morning Victor and I discovered a nest with a Mama sitting on some eggs. It's a little too high for us to see inside, but I think we'll keep an eye on it for a while.

So sad and lonely. today at Kingwood Gardens we saw 2 eggs of blue smashed on the ground and I thought of you with your nest near a window. If He's watching over sparrows, surely He is watching out for Robins!
