Sick

My poor laptop is sick.

I got a huge Microsoft Windows download a couple of days ago and now my laptop freezes, stalls, and hasn't had a normal boot or shut down since.

I've spent way too much time trying to fix it on my own.  Tom and I spent hours trying to figure out whether it needed new drivers or if there was some sort of conflict or whether the problem was software or hardware related.  Still don't know.

So, I'm banging away on Tom's laptop this morning.  I'm guessing that I'll be spending hours and hours again today trying to get it sorted out--only this time with a Dell service rep on the other end of the line.

Oh joy.  Not what I wanted to do with my time today.

So sorry about the sick laptop. So sad that our lives now have to deal not only with sick loved ones and pets, but sick laptops.

Sorry your laptop is ill...... :( Hope it gets better soon! If it's any consolation, the woman I talked to at Dell about my home computer was very helpful.

Sick computers! Yuck. Ours actually DIED a few weeks ago. Good luck with yours!
