What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Sunday 'Hymn': Jesus Loves Me

JESUS LOVES ME*

Jesus loves me

This I know

For the Bible tells me so

Little ones to Him belong

They are weak, but He is strong

Yes, Jesus loves me!

Yes, Jesus loves me!

Yes, Jesus loves me!

The Bible tells me so.

*I just started singing this with Elliott recently.

Does he sing along at all?

A group of Chinese immigrants in our church, including tots and children, sang this in Mandarin for us last spring. It was quite touching to see the little Mandarin children singing this common—and universal—children's hymn.

No, he's not saying much yet, but he enjoys songs and fingerplays nonetheless!

So simple and true. How fun to be passing it on with Elliott...

Great song- so simple and true- for children and all the saints to acknowledge!
I've been singing it to Aidan, as well. He stops and listens and that is as it should be at this age!

Oh, so sweet, Kim! And sometimes us "big kids" need that reminder too!
