What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

November of Thanksgiving 2010

Another glorious fall day here in Illinois.  We've had so many beautiful days for which to be thankful and each time I've savored them, thinking they might be the last.

It's lovely to enjoy the breeze coming through the open windows in November--a rare treat!

I'm thankful for the way a beautiful day can lift one's spirits.

Thanksgiving is a good thing.  Sharing your thanksgiving thoughts with others is a good thing.  I hope you'll join in with me and others in this November of Thanksgiving!

Its been such a gorgeous fall here, hasn't it! I keep thinking each beautiful day is the last and then we get another spell of lovely weather. Thank you, God!

We've had a very warm Fall, but things are changing now. We had snow yesterday and getting more tonight, tomorrow and later in the week. It's so beautiful! And as we always say in Colorado, "we need the moisture!" It's nice that you can still have windows open!

Ah, I love that kind of fall weather! Pretty much the same here, but it looks like rain on the weekend.
